Data deletion requests

Phiawell Healthcare Platform — how to ask us to delete personal data associated with your use of our services, including when you signed in with Meta (Facebook) or connected WhatsApp for clinic communications.

What this page is for

This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data we hold about you in connection with Phiawell. It supports transparency requirements for apps that use Meta platforms (for example, Facebook Login or WhatsApp Business features).

What we may delete

Depending on your account and services used, we may delete or anonymise, where applicable:

Your user profile and account details held in Phiawell.
Identifiers and tokens associated with Meta / Facebook login or WhatsApp integration you authorised.
Other personal data we process as described in our privacy policy.

When we may keep some data

We operate in a healthcare context. Some information cannot be fully erased immediately if the law, clinical safety, billing, or audit rules require us to retain it (for example, certain clinical or financial records for a required period). If that applies, we will explain what we can and cannot delete and why.

How to submit a request

Send an email to:

Please use the subject line “Data deletion request” and include:

Your full name
The email address you use with Phiawell (and, if different, the one linked to Facebook / Meta)
Organisation or clinic name on Phiawell, if applicable
A short description of what you want deleted (e.g. “full account”, “Meta login data only”)

What happens next

We will acknowledge your request and respond within a reasonable time. If we need more information to verify your identity or locate your data, we will ask you. If we cannot delete certain data, we will explain the reason.

Removing the app from Facebook

You can remove Phiawell from your Facebook account under Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites. That affects your connection on Meta’s side; it does not automatically delete all data stored in Phiawell. To delete data we hold, please follow the email process above (or as described in our privacy policy).
